Test Exposures with the Rolleiflex 6008 Integral by Nathan Jones

The Rolleiflex 6000-series cameras are truly wonderful—except for one, serious defect: the battery. This 10 V, 1 A NiCd rechargeable brick is no longer available new and legacy batteries are well past their useful lives. I found a 3D-printed Li-ion replacement on Ebay and was finally able to make it fit after much cajoling with my penknife. The six frames above are test shots taken around the neighbourhood and the garden, just to make sure that everything is working properly.

Two Views of Long Beach, Tofino by Nathan Jones

I have finally made the transition to Lightroom and Negative Lab Pro. What a difference it has made to the quality of my film scans. Why was I contented for so long by sub-par results? It makes me wonder about other areas of my life in which I am operating sub-optimally.
