Nathan is a writer, photographer, runner, and educator based in Vancouver, Canada. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia (2001) and an M.B.A. in Management of Technology from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University (2015). Before joining the faculty of Langara College in Vancouver, he served as an Assistant and Associate (tenured) Professor of Chemistry at Western University in London, Ontario (2004-2010). He is married and has two beautiful children. He is a staunch defender of the Oxford comma.
